My Why & Your Breakthrough

My journey with fitness and healing began in Manama, Bahrain in 2014, shortly after I joined the Navy. Like many service members, I was driven—but also depleted. I was constantly inflamed, obsessing over the scale, and had no real direction when it came to food. I worked out twice a day, prioritized cardio, and pushed through fatigue while my body silently begged for rest and healing. During my time in the military, I was constantly stressed, always putting the mission and others first. I never truly prioritized myself—my health, my hormones, or my healing. And while I wore the uniform with pride, I often felt like I was just surviving inside a body that didn’t feel like mine.

Over the years, I worked with multiple trainers and coaches to try and “fix” the way I looked and felt. In 2019, I became a certified personal trainer. In 2020, I earned my CrossFit Level-1. I’ve even competed in bodybuilding, recently placing 4th in the Wellness division in 2024. But getting there came with a cost—my gut and hormones paid the price. It wasn’t until I became a certified Gut Health Specialist through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition that I realized what I’d been missing all along: the root cause of it all. Healing wasn’t about restriction or burning out in the gym. It was about getting to the root of my stress, restoring balance to my body, and working with it—not against it.

Now, my passion is helping veterans like you release inflammation, regulate your hormones and digestion, and finally feel at home in your body again.
